Youth Adventures In Leadership (YAIL)

YAIL is a program offered by Rotary International, the world’s oldest service organization with over 1.2 million members in over 200 countries.

YAIL will give participants insight into some of the basics of what it means, and takes, to be a leader: to create a well-rounded individual with increased perspective and enthusiasm for growth, who is able to make informed decisions

Welcome to YAIL!

The Youth Adventures In Leadership  (YAIL)…

YAIL will teach participants through a variety of exercises involving leadership and growth – to empower students to network, plan, and set goals.

There are four different sessions, each with a speaker, followed by an activity. The activity and the speaker are directly related to allow participants to use the skills learned in the new activity.

The sessions are: Pre-judging and Assumptions; Goal Setting and Time Management; Risk Taking; Choices and Problem Solving

Participants will be divided into groups with an experienced youth facilitator. The program is led by youth, with guidance from adult Rotarians, in accordance with Rotary guidelines.
